Tricks to Using a Blog

The first trick to using a blog is:

1) POST OFTEN
This can be done by clicking on the orange B in the upper righthand corner of the blog, and logging in. After logging in, you should get an option to post.
I prefer blogs of pictures and conversation topics... like what is the best Harry Potter book (correct answer is 5). Feel free to show off and post lots of pictures.

2) Put the blog URL (rlsmtaylor.blogspot.com) in your favorites folder

3) Check the blog regularly

4) Post responses. Think of it as a really slow conversation... John says... Matt says... Brandon says

Soup and Pictures

Sunday night, Wendy made split pea soup. After several minutes of dinner, Nathan asked her, "Does this have bananas and broccoli in it?" He ate two bowls.

Hogwarts Pictures

The kids put on their costumes after arrival. Here is how they looked

Then we had Quidutch tryouts. This is Sydney on the timed broom ride trial.

After the transfiguration class (making pictures from shaped pasta) we went into the theater for sorting. Here is Devon under the sorting hat.

While in the theater we removed the wall hiding the banquet hall. Here the kids come out of the theater nd see the banquet hall for the first time.

Kate's Letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

I want Barbies, Princesses, and Ponies--more of them. But I don't have any Barbies. Greggy wants a Winnie the Pooh toy and some Winne the Pooh bubbles, and a Tigger Toy and a Train.

I want another big huge train for all of us. I would also like a Princess book, a Barbie book, and a Pony book and some Little People, Sarah Little People, and Princess blocks too, and Princess Little People too.

I love you, I hope your having a nice Christmas. I hope I know what you're choosing for us on this note we're telling. I hope your choosing. From Katie, Love Katie.
